Homemade Tomato sauce

Heat the oil in a pan add onions and tomatoes cook over a medium heat.

Tie herbs together with thin string put them in the pan and tie the other end to the pan handle.

Season with salt, pepper and sugar when boiling point is reached reduce the heat and cover then simmer for 1 hr.

Uncover and simmer until a thick puree is achieved.

Remove the herbs and sieve puree, leave till cold store in closed jars in the fridge
