Honfleur Market in Normandy. The market is held in front of the old church of Eglise Ste-Catherine. We visited on a Wednesday morning the market is also held on Saturday. There were about 20 stalls I was told the Saturday one is larger.

We found the market by chance we were visiting the old church. The market is in a small square in front of it.There was a good choice of local produce wine and pottery items.We did not buy much here Honfleur is geared to the tourist trade.So prices are high it is a nice place to walk round but you are better shopping elsewhere. We found Cormeilles Market better value

After a morning walking round the town a family picnic. About a mile outside of the town centre you can get to the beach. There is free parking and a picnic area.
