The city of Nimes France
There is a Roman temple La Maison Carees which is now a museum, It has a collection of Roman sculptures the temple was built in the 1st century. Also a must see is the Pont du Gard Roman aqueduct which brought water from the reservoir and distributed it throughout the town.
Nimes Roman temple  Outside of the city you will see several vine yards. As well as wine there is clothing and textile manufacturing. If you get tired of the old building there are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants to visit.
