The Old Village of Eze

Eze

Eze is a medieval village it is built on a rocky peak overlooking the sea. It is about 6 miles from Nice on the N7 the Moyenne Corniche road between Nice and Monaco.
The old village is a very busy tourist spot.
If you arrive by car you can park at the foot of the village.You can then walk up through the maze of narrow passage ways and crooked steps.

The village is full of galleries, shops and cafes.

The prices at the restaurant are dearer the higher you go in the village, and the better the view.

Follow the signs to the Jardin Exotique a large tropical garden you can see superb views of the Cote d Azur.

You have to pay to enter the gardens but it is well worth it.

You can visit two well known parfumeries Fragonard and Galimard both have free guided tours
