Ingredients


Pommes de Terre a la Landaise

Potatoes a la Landaise

serves 6

A simple tasty dish from the Western Pyrenees

3 tablespoons of oil

2 medium onions finely chopped

185g of raw ham slices

750g of potatoes peeled and cut into small diced squares

salt and pepper

3 cloves of garlic finely chopped


Heat the oil in a large frying pan with a lid.

Fry the onions and the ham until both are well browned.

Add the potatoes and season with salt and pepper.

Cook with the lid on for 20 mins stirring from time to time.

When the potatoes are cooked, add the garlic and mix well.

Turn into a warmed veg dish and you are ready to serve.
