Journy
Journy is a nice little village in the Hem valley, in the Pas de Calais region of Northern France. The village is about 10 miles form Saint Omer on the D191 road.It was a wet dull day when we visited so the village was not at its best.
Journy is a village you pass through when touring round this picturesque valley.The village is on the edge of the forest of Tournehem where the V1 rockets were fired in the Second World War. We visited the site at La Coupole a couple of years ago it is an interesting side trip.

Chateau Tilques
Built on the remains of a 17th century manor. This neo-Flemish chateau is set in ten acres of lush parkland.
Five kilometres from the historic town of Saint Omer.
The Hotels offers a restaurant and a bar/lounge. Recreational amenities include an indoor pool and tennis courts.
