Saint Omer is a busy town about 30 miles from the port of Calais.
St Omer is ideal for a short break there is so much to see in the area around the town.There are several WWll sites within easy driving distance the Battery Todt on the coast is very good. Also the rocket base at La coupole and the Blockhouse at Eperlecques worth a visit.
You can also visit the towns and villages of the Hem Valley start at the market town of Ardres. Or head to the coast and see the seaside villages of Wissant and Ambletuese
