La Haye Pesnel Manche Normandy is a about 3 miles from where we were staying in Le Tanu It is 15 miles from the large seaside resort of Granville The main street in La Haye Pesnel
We visited the town most morning it had the nearest bread shop to our Gite.It also has a good medium size supermarket with cheap diesel. In France 90% of fuel is sold at the supermarkets so If you are staying in the countryside keep your fuel topped up. The town has several small shops,cafes and bars.There is a small market with fresh produce on a Wednesday morning.It is held on the car park in front of the Town Hall near the supermarket.
