Watten is just a few miles from the town of St Omer in the Pas de Calais.We visited the village on our way back from visiting the Blockhaus WW2 site. In the village of Eperlecques a short drive from Watten
The village is on both sides of the river a group of house and shops.
A restored windmill the church and the remains of the Abbey sits on top of the hill. Several waterways meet at Watten it reminds me of Holland with the canals.
