Kerfany Plage photos and travel guide of our visit to the beach at Kerfany les Pins in Brittany. The village is 2 miles from Belon and 10 miles from Pont Aven Picnic overlooking the beach at Kerfany Plage
Kerfany Plage is a sheltered beach close to where the River Belon and the river Aven flow into the Atlantic.There are so many beaches like this on the Finistere coast you are spoilt for choice. We had been to Port de Belon and were looking for a place to stop for a picnic lunch.This was ideal you could park overlooking the beach we had lunch sat on some rocks in front of the car.There is also at the back of the beach a large grassed area with picnic tables and a children`s playground.Next to the car park is a cafe and further round the bay is a restaurant / hotel with views across the bay. After lunch we had a walk along the beach a watched 2 people launching a sailing boat.We only saw 6 people altogether so had the beach to ourselves. After the beach we took walk along the headland and then to the cafe for a coffee then back to our rented Gite the Mill House Car park and Cafe you can just see the picnic area to the left
