Port de Belon is a small village built at the bottom of a wooded hillside. Next to the river Belon on the Finistere coast in Brittany.The area is famous for the Belon oysters which are regarded as the best you can buy.We visited Port de Belon in late September so we had the place to ourselves. We parked right on the edge of the river near the slipway for a picnic lunch.Just sitting there watching the yachts moored in the river and eating fresh French bread and cheese with coffee it is the prefect picnic spot.
