Zouafques is a village in the Hem Valley Pas de Calais region on the D217. About 11 miles from the town of Saint Omer It is about 1 mile from the village of Tournehem sur la Hem one of the larger villages in the area

The village of Zouafques is one of the places we visited when driving round the Hem valley.The village has a population of about 500. The church was built around 1873 and has attractive stained glass windows and is worth a visit just to see the windows.

Chateau Tilques

Built on the remains of a 17th century manor. This neo-Flemish chateau is set in ten acres of lush parkland.

The Hotels offers a restaurant and a bar/lounge. Recreational amenities include an indoor pool and tennis courts.
