Penmarch we visited the town by chance.We had been on a circular drive from Pont l-Abbe to Loctudy and then down the D53 to Penmarch.We saw a sign to the Point and the Phared'Eckmühl a large lighthouse.The light can be seen from 6o miles out to sea.There is a large parking area overlooking the old sea wall where you sit and watch the sea.
